Our Fee

Aslam Law - Immigration Fees Guide

IMPORTANT: This is a guide only. A fee will be agreed at the outset, before you commit, based on the full circumstances of your case. All fees stated are purely in respect of our legal fees and exclude third-party costs (e.g., Home Office fees, disbursements).

Our Fees

We normally charge on a **fixed fee basis**. This fee scale outlines our fees for all immigration advice and services. A fee will be agreed at the outset so you know the precise costs involved.

A more straightforward case would fall at the **lower end** of the range, and a complicated matter would fall at the **higher end**. Factors that might add complexity include:

  • An adverse immigration history.
  • More unusual personal circumstances.
  • Particular urgency.
  • More family members included as a dependent applicant.
  • The amount of evidence required.

Withdrawal of Instructions

Where you withdraw instructions part way through a fixed-fee case, you will be charged for all work undertaken on your behalf at an **hourly rate of £360**.

Please note that our organization is **not VAT registered**.

Hourly Rate

We will charge on an **hourly rate of £360**, time estimated in advance, where no fixed fee applies (e.g., provision of Advice). This will be made clear to you at the outset.

Home Office Application Fees and Disbursements

The fees stated here are purely our legal fees. **Home Office application fees, Immigration Health Surcharge, and any disbursements are additional**.

A **disbursement** is a fee charged by a third party (e.g., barristers’ fees, postage, search fees). We will advise of any likely disbursements at the outset. Unanticipated disbursements (e.g., expert report) will not be incurred without your prior consent.

Description of Work Included in the Fixed Fee

Our fixed fees include:

  • All attendances.
  • Written and telephone correspondence with the client and relevant third parties.
  • All consideration of evidence and advice.
  • Consideration and preparation of documents.
  • Submission of the application and relevant supporting documents.
  • All photocopying, scanning, and postage in respect of preparing the case and submission to UKVI.

Family Members (Points-Based System Dependents)

Our charges for Points-Based System Family Members (dependents applying separately to the main applicant) are:

  • **First family member:** £800 – £1,200
  • **Each additional family member** (applying at the same time): £250

Timescales

Timescales provided are approximate for a typical matter by Standard Service. UKVI processing times and immigration tribunal timescales are subject to external factors (e.g., courtroom availability). Expedited UKVI application services are available at a surcharge, which will be explained at the outset.

Consultation Fee

We offer a consultation service:

  • **Fee:** £150.00 for an hour consultation.
  • This fee will be **deducted** from our fixed fee if you proceed with a substantive matter.

Experience and Qualifications of Individuals

Details of the experience and qualifications of the individuals who will carry out the work in dealing with your case shall be made clear to you at the outset before you engage our services.
